We are well on the way to creating a world we all want to live in, forming a Start by Believing nation. In 2014, Arizona became the first Start by Believing state. Since then, New Mexico, Utah and Oklahoma have joined them in having state-wide proclamations to join the cause. Will your state be the next Start by Believing state?

Your efforts help sexual assault victims and their loved ones, to improve their recovery and well-being and also to increase their ability to participate in the process of a criminal investigation and prosecution. This can ultimately protect our communities by holding perpetrators accountable and preventing them from repeatedly committing crimes with impunity.
